						 Remember in an emergency to
dial 999 from any telephone (or 112 from a mobile phone).
Tell the operator which service you want and you will be put
through to the relevant service (REMEMBER: The call taker
may not be located in your town/county). You will be asked
for the TELEPHONE NUMBER you are calling from in case you
are cut off and the Emergency Operations Centre call taker
can call you back. The location of the emergency will then
be asked, once this has been verified an emergency vehicle
is being dispatched to you. DO NOT HANG UP until told to do
so. You will be asked further questions and in the case of a
Medical Emergency you will be given instructions on what to
					do to help the casualty.
THIS IS NOT DELAYING THE EMERGENCY
					VEHICLE TO YOUR LOCATION! |
